GATE 2026 Registration Begins Today, Check the Exam Fee, Exam Date and the Application Last Date

GATE 2026 Registration: Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati (IIT Guwahati) has opened the registration window for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026 from today, August 28. Eligible candidates can apply for the national-level entrance exam through the official website gate2026.IITG.ac.in.

GATE 2026 will be conducted by IIT Guwahati on February 7, 8, 14, and 15 in two shifts daily. The forenoon shift will be from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, and the afternoon shift will be from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Candidates can register for GRADUATE APTITUDE TEST IN ENGINEERING 2026 (GATE 2026) without any late fee till September 28.

The registration process will continue even after this date, for which an additional late fee of Rs 500 will have to be paid. The last date to apply for the national-level entrance exam with a late fee is October 9, 2025. The registration portal for “GRADUATE APTITUDE TEST IN ENGINEERING 2026” is currently open on the official website, gate2026.IITG.ac.in, where eligible candidates will have to complete the application form, upload the required documents, and pay the fee as per their respective category.
