CUET UG 2024 Registration: National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2024 registration process today. Candidates can complete the online application form on the official website Exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG.

CUET UG 2024 schedule:
As per the official schedule, CUET UG 2024 exams are scheduled to be held from May 15 to 31. The results of these examinations will be declared on June 30. However, students should remember that the dates may vary depending on the national election schedule. Registration for CUET has started from today, and students have been given time till March 26 (11:50 pm) to submit their applications.
Following this, students will have the opportunity to rectify any errors in their application forms between March 28 and 29. The issuance of city slips is scheduled for April 30, while admit cards will be issued during the second week of May 2024.
Changes, exam pattern
CUET UG 2024 will be conducted in hybrid mode (Computer-Based Test (CBT)/Pen and Paper). In subjects with high registration percentage, OMR sheets will be provided for multiple choice questions.
In this way, we will be able to conduct the examination of those specific subjects on the same day and in one shift for all the candidates in the country.
We will be able to use multiple schools, colleges and educational institutions as exam halls, like we do for other exams like NEET. “This will benefit students, especially those from rural areas, as they will not have to travel to remote areas for exams,” UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar said.
This year also the examination will be conducted in 13 languages i.e. English, Hindi, Urdu, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada and Malayalam. The exam is being conducted in 380 cities including 26 cities outside India.
There are 33 languages and 27 subjects. The candidate can choose any subject/language as per the wish of the applicable University/Organization. 40 out of 50 questions will have to be solved in each of these languages. In a normal test, 50 out of 60 questions have to be attempted. Candidates are advised to select at least one language and general test.
The duration of all test papers will be 45 minutes except Mathematics/Applied Mathematics, Accountancy, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Computer Science/Informatics Practice and General tests which will be 60 minutes. The examination will be conducted in two or three shifts over several days depending on the number of candidates and subject choices.
