NEET PG Examination Likely to be Held in First Week of July; No National Exit Exam in this year 2024
NEET PG Examination: The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-Post Graduate (NEET PG) Exam is likely to be held in the first week of July and counselling in the first week of August, sources said on Saturday. He further said that the National Exit Test (NExT) will not be conducted this year 2024.
As per the recently notified “Postgraduate Medical Education Regulations, 2023” which have replaced the Postgraduate Medical Education (Amendment) Regulations, 2018, the existing NEET-PG exam will continue till the proposed NExT for the purpose of PG admissions doesn’t start.
NEET-PG is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed under the National Medical Commission Act, 2019 as a single entrance examination for admission to various MD/MS and PG diploma courses.
