Indian Scientist Shubhanshu Shukla Sends Message From Space – Axiom-4 Mission
Shubhanshu Shukla is only the second Indian scientist to travel to space in 41 years and the first scientist to reach the ISS through a private mission.

June 26, 2025 – Indian scientist Shubhanshu Shukla, who is currently on the Axiom-4 space mission, has sent an emotional message from space. “The Earth looks very beautiful from here. I am taking photos and videos for all of you. I want everyone to enjoy this energy through me. When I come back, I will share everything with you.”
After a 28-hour journey, the Dragon spacecraft is scheduled to dock at the International Space Station (ISS) at 4:30 pm today. Shubhanshu Shukla is only the second Indian scientist to travel to space in 41 years and the first scientist to reach the ISS through a private mission.
Scientific experiment in space
Shukla will also conduct an important experiment related to agriculture. He will study the behavior of seeds of six different crops in microgravity. This research could support space farming in the future and help improve agricultural techniques on Earth. This mission is a historic milestone for India in space exploration.
