IIM Ahmadabad concludes One Year MBA-PGPX Placement 2023
The highest take home salary in IIMA PGPX placements 2023 has gone up to Rs 1.08 cr, the average take home salary for the batch was 35.68 LPA
Indian Institute of Management, Ahmadabad (IIM Ahmadabad) has completed the final placement process of its one year full time Post Graduate Program in Management for Executives (MBA-PGPX). 130 students of PGPX 2023 batch participated and 128 accepted offer letters this year from globally recognized companies across sectors.
PGPX students of IIM Ahmadabad were selected by Indian and international recruiters for leadership roles as well as middle and senior management roles. Some of the positions for which the students were hired include vice president, director, leadership program candidate, program head, product head, assistant vice president, general manager, among others.
The participants of the 17th batch of PGPX included candidates from various industries and functions with experience ranging from 4 years to 16 years. While the highest take home salary in IIMA PGPX placements 2023 has gone up to Rs 1.08 cr, the average take home salary for the batch was 35.68 LPA and 6 students got international offers with higher packages.
Interestingly, consulting firms have emerged as the biggest recruiters this year, hiring 24 per cent of the students. Information technology services, BFSI and automotive sectors hired 19 per cent, 10 per cent and 7 per cent students, respectively.

Top Recruiters for IIM Ahmadabad PGPX 2023 batch included global giants such as BCG SEA (South-East Asia), Bain, PwC, McKinsey, KPMG, Infosys, Wells Fargo, Persistent Systems, Trident Devrev, Near Intelligence, Adani, Arthur D. Little, Ather Energy, Magicpin, Xynteo, Accenture, Indegene, FinIQ Genpact, ElasticRun, Invest Punjab, Lentra, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, L’Oreal, Sun Pharma, Head Digital Works. Accenture, Lentra, McKinsey and Persistent Systems were the firms that made the highest number of offers.
Placement Committee Chairperson Professor Ankur Sinha said, “We had one of the best placement seasons for our PGPX Class of 2023 in the 17-year journey of the programme.
