World No. 1 Batsman in T20Is: Abhishek Sharma has reached the pinnacle of T20Is batting and has become only the third Indian male player to hold the No. 1 spot in the ICC batsmen’s rankings. The 24-year-old left-hander has replaced Australia’s Travis Head from the position. His elevation is a significant moment in Indian limited-overs cricket, as he joins the ranks of Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav, who previously held the same position.
