The Central Teacher Eligibility Test 2026 (CTET 2026), City Intimation Slip has been released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Candidates are advised to download the city intimation slip from the official website, ctet.nic.in.
The city intimation slip is issued for candidates. They can conveniently plan their travel and stay arrangements once they know their allotted city. That’s why the city intimation slip is released prior the examination.
The city intimation slip consists of only the allotted city, not the exam centre. The complete address of the exam centre will be given in the Admit card. The Admit card will be released just two days before the exam.
The CTET 2026 Examination will be held on February 8th 2026. The exam will be held in two shifts. Paper I is for candidates seeking to become teachers of classes 1 to 5. Paper II is for candidates seeking to become teachers of classes 6 to 8. The Paper I will be held in the noon shift, 9.30 a.m. to 12 p.m. The Paper II will be held in eve shift, from 2.30 pm to 5 pm.
CBSE will soon release the Admit card of CTET 2026 through the official website, ctet.nic.in. The admit card/hall ticket will include the candidate’s roll number, name, examination centre address, and reporting time. There will be general instructions as well on the admit card. Candidates are advised to keep checking the official website, ctet.nic.in. for the latest updates regarding the Admit card and further examination updates.
