Australian all-rounder Cooper Connolly will be available to play for Punjab Kings (PBKS) in their IPL 2026 match against Delhi Capitals on Saturday. Spin-bowling coach Sairaj Bahutule has confirmed that the young all-rounder is fully fit and ready to play.
The 22-year-old had briefly travelled to Australia to undergo a scan on his back, where Cricket Australia monitored his bowling fitness.
Speaking on the eve of PBKS’s match against DC, Bahutule said, “Yes, he is fully available. He just went there briefly and has now returned. He is completely ready and eager to take the field.”

In his debut IPL season, Connolly has played an important role in propelling Punjab to the top of the points table. He has scored 223 runs at a strike rate of 163.97, including innings of 72 not out and 87 runs.
