NEET-UG Counselling 2024: The Medical Council Committee (MCC) has allowed candidates allotted seats in the first two rounds of National Eligibility Entrance Test, Undergraduate (NEET UG) counselling 2024 to resign. Those who wish to resign from their seat can do so before October 1.

The committee claimed that the decision, which was published on the official MCC website, was taken by the counselling committee after receiving requests from several undergraduate students. “Candidates who wish to give up their Round-1 or Round-2 seat can do so till 5 pm on 01.10.2024,” the official notification said.

Check Old & New Rules Before Resigning of Counselling Seat:

+ Round 1 NEET UG candidates who did not upgrade to Round 2 can resign from their seat without any penalty of security deposit within the resignation deadline.

+ Newly allotted candidates of NEET-UG 2024 counselling round 2 who have accepted their seat but now wish to resign can vacate their seat with penalty of security deposit within the deadline i.e. October 1.

+ Medical candidates who got upgraded in NEET counselling round 2 and joined the upgraded seat but now wish to resign from their allotted seat can vacate their seat by forfeiting the security deposit within the deadline.

+ Candidates must remember that they have to physically report to the allotted college to resign from their seat.
