Jamia Millia Islamia Launches New Undergraduate Programmes in German and Japanese Studies

New Delhi: Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has launched new undergraduate (UG) programmes in German and Japanese Studies and an Advanced Diploma course in Child Guidance and Counselling for the academic session 2025-2026. Interested students may fill out the application form official website.

These courses have been launched as part of the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUUP) under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2025. The Bachelor of Arts (BA) in German Studies and Japanese Studies is designed to equip students with knowledge of cultural studies, translation, and interpretation, as well as introduce them to industry-oriented applications.

The Advanced Diploma in Child Guidance and Counselling, accredited by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), prepares students for a rewarding career as an RCI-approved counsellor. Graduates can work in academic institutions, health care facilities, hospitals, clinics, government organisations, and national and international NGOs.
