Allahabad University admission process begins; here’s how to apply
Candidates can check their eligibility and apply for the course of their choice. Only those candidates who appeared for CUET UG 2022 can apply in Allahabad University.
Allahabad University admission: Allahabad University has opened the registration window for undergraduate programmes, interested candidates can apply at the official website- allduniv.ac.in. The registration window is open from October 5 to October 15.
Candidates can check their eligibility and apply for the course of their choice. Only those candidates who appeared for CUET UG 2022 can apply in Allahabad University.
Allahabad University Admissions 2022: How to apply
Step 1: Visit allduniv.ac.in, the official website.
Step 2: Select the “CUET UG Admissions” link.
Step 3: Select “Register” and fill up your information.
Step 4: Decide the course you wish to apply for and submit the required application fee.
Step 5: Save the application form for later use by downloading it.
A merit list including the chosen candidates will be published following the submission of applications for a course. After being chosen, the candidates will go through counselling and secure their seats by paying the course costs.
Six stages of the CUET UG test were held from mid-July to the end of August. The first-ever CUET UG 2022 had over 9.9 lakh distinct individuals apply.

University of Allahabad has always occupied an esteemed place among the Universities of India for over a century. Established on 23rd September 1887, it is the fourth oldest University of India after Calcutta, Bombay and Madras University. The credit for conceiving a large Central College in Allahabad (now named as Prayagraj), eventually to develop into a University, goes to Sir William Muir, Lt. Governor of United Provinces.
As a result of his initiative the foundation stone of the Muir Central College (named after him) was laid on Dec. 9 1873 by His Excellency Lord Northbrook. Sir William Muir said on the occasion; “The establishment of a central college at Allahabad (now named as Prayagraj) has been my earnest desire ever since I assumed my present office.” Shortly after coming here I found that a strong wish prevailed among the chief people of the place for a better means of education at Allahabad (now named as Prayagraj); and being myself deeply impressed with the same conviction, I took occasion at the first Darbar which I held here to urge upon those present the necessity of showing that they were sincere and in earnest, by contributing to the work.
