The Telangana Backwards Classes Welfare Department has invited applications for its free long-term coaching program for the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2027. This coaching will be conducted by the Telangana BC Employability Skill Development and Training Centre (TGBCESDTC) at the TG BC Study Circle in Saidabad, Hyderabad. Eligible graduates can apply online via the official website, tgbcstudycircle.cgg.gov.in, from July 17 to August 7, 2026.
The coaching program will run from August 24, 2026, to May 2027. A total of 150 candidates will be admitted. Of these, 100 candidates will be selected through an online screening test, while 50 candidates who have already cleared the UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) Prelims will be granted direct admission (provided they meet the necessary criteria).
Telangana UPSC Coaching 2027: Monthly Stipend
Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹5,000 (subject to meeting attendance requirements). They will also receive a one-time book grant of ₹5,000, access to the study circle library, and coaching from experienced faculty. The program will include regular subject-wise tests, evaluations, and feedback sessions to help candidates prepare for both the UPSC Prelims and Mains examinations.
Telangana UPSC Coaching 2027: Who is Eligible? Applicants must hold a graduate degree from a recognised university and meet the eligibility criteria prescribed for the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2027. The annual family income must not exceed ₹1.5 lakh for applicants from rural areas and ₹2 lakh for those from urban areas. Candidates must not be currently employed, pursuing another course, or have previously availed of any such government coaching program.
