UPSC Civil Services, IFS 2026 Notification Delayed

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) was expected to announce the official notification of the Civil Services Examination and IFS (Indian Forest Service) 2026 today, 14th January 2026. But the notification got delayed. It hasn’t published on the official website yet, upsc.gov.in.

An official notice has been published on the official website for the students about the delayed notification of the CSE and IFS exams. The official notice states that the reason behind the delayed notification is administrative issues. The revised dates for the recruitment notification for UPSC CSE and IFS examination will be announced soon.

UPSC CSE Notification

The Union Public Service Commission CSE notification is one of the most awaited notifications. Aspirants who want to have prestigious government jobs, IAS, IRS, IPS, and IFS, are eagerly waiting for the recruitment notification. The candidates must keep checking the official website for the latest updates.

The Union Public Service Commission Prelims exam will be conducted on May 24th 2026, as per the official calendar. The UPSC Mains exam will be conducted in August 2026, tentatively. The Union Public Service Commission officials have recently issued a new rule/a new measure. There will be face authentication at examination centres. This new measure is initiated to ensure the integrity and security of the examination process.

‘Each candidate appearing for Union Public Service Commission CSE exam will undergo face authentication at the examination centres, ’ the commission stated. The new dates for the recruitment notification of CSE and IFS will be released soon on the official website, upsc.gov.in.
