Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati), GATE 2026 is scheduled to be held in February 7th ,8th,14th and 15th 2026. The Admit card was scheduled to be released on January 2nd 2026 tentatively. However, IIT Guwahati has postponed the release of admit card/hall ticket. The revised date will be published soon.
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026 conducted by IIT Guwahati has yet not released the revised date. As per the official statement, the Paper Schedule has been released. The Mock tests Links are live now.
Students must practice the mock examination, through the mock test link activated by the IIT Guwahati.
GATE 2026: Exam Details
The GATE 2026 will be conducted in CBT (Computer-based Test) mode. The examination will be held in two shifts – morning shifts, from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and the afternoon shifts, from 2.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.
The GATE examination is conducted for admission in M.Tech, MS and Ph.D courses. The examination is conducted on behalf of the National Coordination Board, Ministry of Education. Students must keep checking the admit card updates on the official website, gate2026.iitg.ac.in.
GATE scores stays valid till 3 years after the declaration of result. After the Gate scores, student can take admission in NITs (National Institute of Technology), IITs (Indian Institute of Technology), and IIITs (Indian Institute of Information Technology). GATE Admit card/hall ticket would be released soon on the official website, gate2026.iitg.ac.in.
