VITEEE 2026: The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has begun registration for the VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) 2026 for admission to undergraduate engineering (B.Tech) programs across all VIT campuses. Interested candidates can complete the online registration process through the official website, viteee.vit.ac.in.

This entrance exam serves as the gateway to B.Tech programs offered at VIT Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal, and Andhra Pradesh campuses, and will be conducted as a computer-based test (CBT) at designated centres in India and abroad.

VITEEE 2026: Important Dates and Duration

The VITEEE 2026 exam will likely be held between April 28 and May 3, 2026. The exam duration will be 2 hours and 30 minutes. Candidates are allowed to appear for the exam only once, and attempting the exam more than once will result in cancellation of candidacy and admission.

The entrance exam will be conducted over multiple days, depending on the number of applicants in each city. Application and counselling fees are non-refundable.

Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme

The exam paper will consist of a total of 125 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), divided into five sections. Candidates will have to choose between the MPCEA (mathematics-based) or BPCEA (biology-based) pattern, depending on their subject combination in Class 12. The VITEEE 2026 paper will be available in English only, and the total duration of the exam is 150 minutes.
