BCCI Naman Awards 2025: The 2023-24 BCCI Awards ceremony will celebrate the achievements of India’s cricketing legends, with many fine performances getting recognised.

Sachin Tendulkar was on Saturday honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the BCCI Naman Awards 2025 in Mumbai. Sachin Tendulkar was conferred with the prestigious Col CK Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award by the BCCI in recognition of his “unparalleled contribution to Indian cricket over two decades”.

Vintage pacer Jasprit Bumrah was awarded the BCCI’s Polly Umrigar Award for Best International Cricketer in the men’s category, while flamboyant batsman Smriti Mandhana won the trophy in the women’s category.

Bumrah’s mastery in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy and his crucial role in India’s series win make him well deserving of the award. Mandhana, who shone as the ICC Women’s ODI Cricketer of the Year, impressed with a record four ODI centuries and a stellar average of 57.86.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Cricket Association received the award for the best performance in the 2023-24 BCCI domestic tournaments as they won the Ranji Trophy for a record 42nd time, while also becoming champions of the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy, Vijay Merchant Trophy and Women’s Under-19 One-Day Trophy.
