IIT Roorkee Placement Drive 2023-2024 Session: 105 Companies Made 593 Offers in 4 days
The placement exercise for 2023-24, which began on December 1, was a collaborative effort between the institute and international and domestic companies from various sectors.
IIT Roorkee Placement: According to media reports, by the end of the fourth day of 2024 Phase-1 placement, 16 international and 593 offers were received. Databricks offered a salary package of Rs 2 crore per annum to a student during the first phase of Placement 2023-24. This year a total of 105 companies participated in the placement drive at IIT Roorkee in the last 4 days.

According to the press release issued by IIT Roorkee, the highlight of the placement season was to promote diversification in job profiles, thereby ensuring a holistic approach.
As already mentioned, on the fourth day of the placement drive, the total number of offers was 593 with 16 international offers. Whereas, till the third day the number of offers was 504.
By the end of the second day, a total of 440 offers were made by more than 60 companies.
Notably, IIT Roorkee students who participated in the placement drive on the very first day had already received three international and 358 domestic offers.

Shaw India, Databricks, Devrev, Flipkart, Google, Hilabs, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, Indus Insights, Intel Technologies, Jaguar Land Rover, Microsoft, Nvidia, Petronet LNG Limited, Plutus Research Private included. Ltd., Qualcomm, SAP Labs, SLB, Squarepoint, Texas Instruments, Webstaff, Whirlpool, Accenture Japan, Acuvon Consulting Private, American Express, Auronova Consulting, Axis Bank, Barclays, Wells Fargo, 91 square feet and more, as mentioned the press release by IIT Roorkee.
Earlier, the highest and average package offered during MBA Placement 2023 was 27.94 LPA and 18.34 LPA respectively. Furthermore, the placement rate recorded during MBA Placement 2023 was 100%. Furthermore, the average and minimum package offered during IIT Roorkee MBA Placement 2023 was 18.09 LPA and 11.60 LPA respectively.
