The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the answer key and response sheets for the JEE Main 2026 January examination on February 2. The NTA has also opened the window for raising objections to the answer key for the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) January 2026 session. The JEE Main 2026 answer key and candidates’ response sheets are available on the NTA’s official websites – nta.ac.in and jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can raise objections to the answer key until February 6 (11:50 PM).
A non-refundable processing fee of Rs 200 will be charged for each question challenged. The final answer key will be released after considering the grievances raised by the candidates who appeared for the exam. The JEE Main 2026 Session 1 exam result will be declared by February 12.
JEE Main 2026 Examination Answer Key
If the objections against the answer key are found to be valid, the JEE Main 2026 January examination answer key will be revised and applied to all candidates’ responses accordingly. The result will be prepared and declared based on the updated final answer key.
The outcome will be formulated and announced in accordance with the updated final answer key. No candidate will be individually informed about the acceptance/rejection of their objection. The NTA stated that the key finalised by the experts after the resolution of objections will be final.
