The cluster 2 final placement process for the Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) Class of 2026 took place yesterday at India’s best business school, the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM Ahmedabad).
The companies involved in Cluster 2 were classified into six separate categories:

| Retail B2B & B2C |
The consumer goods group included well-known recruiting companies such as Hindustan Unilever (Hindustan Unilever is in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods business, primarily in the home care, beauty and personal care, and foods and refreshments segments) and Procter & Gamble (P&G), while Berger Paints (Indian multinational paint company) participated for the first time.

The conglomerates group featured participation from top organisations such as the Aditya Birla Group, Reliance Group, and Tata Administrative Services, with Godrej and Murugappa Group also involved in the process; significantly, Essar Group made the most offers in this group.
An Indian multinational telecommunications company, Bharti Airtel, was a leading recruiter in the consumer services cohort. The pharmaceuticals & health care cohort saw recruiters such as Bharat Serums and Sun Pharma, with Leeford Healthcare joining for the first time. The retail B2B & B2C cohort witnessed increased participation, with new recruiters Dot & Key and Nykaa joining an American multinational technology company, Amazon and an Indian e-commerce company, Flipkart.
The cluster also witnessed international participation through offers from firms such as DAMAC (Emirati property development company, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates) and Fast Retailing (Tokyo), with 29 firms visiting as part of the process. As stated earlier, Cluster 3 will be held on 9 February 2026.
