The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kashipur, Uttarakhand has appointed Professor Neeraj Dwivedi as its new Director. With over 25 years of diverse experience spanning academia, the corporate world, and executive leadership, Professor Dwivedi brings a wealth of knowledge to the role.
Professor Dwivedi is an alumnus of Indian Institute of Management Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, where he completed the Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) with a specialisation in Strategic Management. Additionally, he holds an MTech degree from IIT Kharagpur and a BTech from GB Pant University, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand.
Professor Dwivedi joins IIM Kashipur, Uttarkhand from Indian Institute of Management Lucknow, where he served as Professor of Strategic Management and held several senior leadership roles including Dean (Faculty and Programmes), Chairman of Postgraduate Programmes, Admissions, Student Affairs and Placement, and Member of the Board of Governors.
According to a statement from IIM Kashipur, Professor Dwivedi has helped IIM Lucknow obtain the institute’s AACSB accreditation. Notably, he served as the national coordinator of CAT 2017 and oversaw the smooth conduct of one of India’s biggest and most complex competitive exams.
Commenting on the appointment, Prof. Neeraj Dwivedi, Director, IIM Kashipur, said, “It is indeed an honour for me to assume charge as Director of Indian Institute of Management Kashipur. It is my dream to see IIM Kashipur transform itself into a dynamic, technology-driven, multi-disciplinary institution, with a reputation for quality and emerge as a globally respected management school.”
