Prime Minister Modi said, “We are also celebrating the 125th birth anniversary of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee today. He was the first great man to sacrifice his life for the Constitution of India. By demolishing the wall of Article 370 (special autonomous status to the state of Jammu and Kashmir), we paid true tribute to Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee by realizing the mantra of one nation, one constitution.”
The Prime Minister said, “I salute the valour of our heroes. Through Operation Sindoor, our soldiers responded with a force beyond the enemy’s imagination. On 22 April, terrorists from across the border targeted and killed innocent civilians by asking about their religion. The entire nation was enraged.”
“Nuclear blackmail has been going on for a long time, but it will not be tolerated anymore. If our enemies continue such attempts, our armed forces will respond on their terms, at a time chosen by them, and by achieving the goals they have set. We are prepared to give a befitting reply,” Prime Minister Modi said.
He said, “The devastation caused by our forces in Pakistan is so severe that new revelations are being made every day. India is determined not to tolerate nuclear threats anymore; we will not bow to any pressure.”
