NEET UG 2022 Notification Released, Exam on July 17 Registration starts.
Candidates can register for the Undergraduate Medical Examination from the official website -neet.nta.nic.in.
NEET UG 2022 will be conducted on July 17, said an official notification released on neet.nic.in. The registration for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) has started. This exam will be conducted in 13 languages across the country.
Candidates can register for the undergraduate medical exam from the official website- neet.nta.nic.in by following these simple steps:
Steps to register for NEET-UG 2022
Step 1: Visit the official website of NEET- https://neet.nta.nic.in/
Step 2: Click on ‘Proceed to apply online for NEET (UG) 2022’
Step 3: Enter the credentials details (name, phone no., other details)
Step 3: After adding the phone no. you will receive a six-digit OTP
Step 4: Enter the OTP and submit the registration form
Step 5: A provisional NEET application number will be generated which needs to be preserved till the admission process is over
Step 6: Pay the fee online for the registration form and download the form for future reference.
NEET 2022 exam has brought some changes in the age group category this year with no upper limit to apply. Earlier only candidates below 25 years of age could apply. However, the criteria have changed.
NEET UG 2022 ELIGIBILITY:
“Candidates who have passed Class 12 from Open School or as private candidates will not be eligible to apply for the ‘National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test’,” the NTA said.
Candidates appearing in the Class 10 Board exams will be eligible. However, if they fail to clear the board exam, they will not be considered.
APPLICATION FEES:
Candidates can apply for NEET-UG 2022 from April 6 to May 6. The last date to submit fee is May 7. The application fee for general category candidates is Rs 1600. For candidates belonging to General-EWS/ OBC-NCL category, the application fee is Rs 1500. Students belonging to SC/ST/PwBD/third gender category will have to pay Rs 900 as an application fee.
