CAT Registration 2023 Closed; Application Editing Window Will Open Shortly

The CAT Registration 2023 process has closed on September 21, 2023, at 11 am without any further extension. Although the CAT convenor had confirmed that the registration window would not be extended, CAT registration was extended till 11 am on September 21.

After the CAT registration 2023 process closes, IIM will open the CAT application error correction window in a day or two. For MBA admission 2024, there are 21 IIMs that will accept CAT 2023 scores. IIM Mumbai is the new entrant in the list of 20 IIMs. Apart from this, IIFT will also accept CAT exam scores for MBA admission 2024. More than 2000 MBA seats have been added for MBA admission 2024 in IIMs and other top colleges.

After the CAT registration window closes, a very short CAT application editing window of 2-3 days will be provided to registered applicants. Registered applicants will be able to edit the below mentioned fields in the CAT 2023 application form (if required):

A) Photograph

B) Signature

C) Test City Preferences

This option will be valid only for those candidates who have paid the registration fee and have successfully registered for CAT 2023 within the specified time limit.

IIM Mumbai (earlier NITIE), IIFT Delhi and Kolkata will consider CAT 2023 scores

NITIE has been added as India’s 21st IIM – IIM Mumbai, increasing the number of IIMs from 20 to 21. Along with the existing IIMs, MBA admission 2024 in IIM Mumbai has also opened through CAT 2023. CAT 2023 Center has announced that India’s 21st IIMs, IIM Mumbai (NITIE) and IIFT (Delhi and Kolkata) will consider CAT 2023 scores for admission in 2024.

CAT Admit Card download will start from October 25, 2023, immediately after the release of the hall ticket by IIM. The last date to download CAT Admit Card is the exam date.
