JNU Students Union Elections: Poll Body Declares 35 Candidates Eligible for the Post of President
The central panel of Jawaharlal Nehru University Students' Union (JNUSU) consists of four posts – President, Vice President, General Secretary and Joint Secretary.
JNU Students Union Elections: The election body of Jawaharlal Nehru University has released the list of 141 eligible candidates who can contest for the central panel in the upcoming students union elections.
The central panel of Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union (JNUSU) consists of four posts – President, Vice President, General Secretary and Joint Secretary.
The Election Committee declared 35 candidates for the post of President, 37 for Vice President, 38 for General Secretary and 31 for Joint Secretary as qualified for the JNUSU elections of 2023-24.
The Election Committee (EC) released the names of students whose candidatures were found valid to contest the elections for the Central Panel of JNU Students Union.

Apart from this, the election body has also released a list of 171 candidates who will be eligible to contest for the post of councilor from various schools of the university.
According to Election Commission data, students from around 20 schools of Jawaharlal Nehru University will participate in the upcoming elections. At present nominations are open for withdrawal. The final list will be displayed by the Election body.
