BTech in Chemical Engineering at IIT Indore: New Course by IITs

IIT Indore: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore launched a new course – B.Tech in Chemical Engineering for the academic year 2023-24. The objective of the program is to provide a holistic approach to the students focusing on multidisciplinary and practical approach.

This course is also offered by 16 other IITs including IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Kharagpur.

The program structure and curriculum have been developed by leading experts from academia in India and the world and incorporate traditional and modern disciplines of chemical engineering. It is offered with multiple specializations including Petrochemical, Biochemical, Energy, Pharmaceutical, Processing etc.

It is a four year full time undergraduate degree program divided into eight semesters. In each semester, candidates have to study 6 to 7 subjects with optional choices.

IIT Indore B.Tech in Chemical Engineering: Eligibility Criteria

Admission to the program will be done on the basis of JEE Advanced 2023 score. Additionally, candidates must have completed class 12 (or equivalent) examination from any recognized state or central board.
