NEET-MDS 2024: Health Ministry Reduces Qualifying cut-off Percentile, NBE to Release Revised Result
The qualifying cut off percentile for each category - General, SC, ST, OBC and UR-PWD has been reduced by 21.692 percentile.
NEET-MDS 2024 Cut-Off: The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has reduced the qualifying cut-off percentile for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS). The qualifying cut off percentile for each category – General, SC, ST, OBC and UR-PWD has been reduced by 21.692 percentile.

An official statement issued in this regard said that the revised result will be released soon after considering the revised MDS 2024 cut-off. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) announced the results of the MDS on April 3. The examination for NEET MDS 2024 took place on March 18.
With the recent revision of the cut-off, an increased number of students will qualify for admission to postgraduate dental programs. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) which manages the counselling process of MDS will have to re-open the registration for MDS 2024 counselling.
Based on the NEET MDS cut off, candidates will be shortlisted for admission to MDS courses in top dental colleges in India. NEET MDS 2024 counselling will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) based on the 50% AIQ merit list. Counselling will begin after the revised result is released.
