IAF Agniveer 2024 Notification Released, Registration Begins On July 8
It provides a chance to unmarried Indian male and female candidates to join the Indian Armed Forces.
IAF Agniveer Vayu Recruitment 2024: The Indian Air Force (IAF) has released a notification for the recruitment of Agniveer Vayu posts under Agneepath program for the year 2024. It provides a chance to unmarried Indian male and female candidates to join the Indian Armed Forces.
The application period is scheduled to run from July 8 to July 28 through the official website agnipathvayu.cdac.in Eligible candidates, born between 3 July 2004 and 3 January 2008, can apply provided they are not more than 21 years of age at the time of enrollment after passing all selection stages.
IAF Agniveer Vayu Recruitment 2024: Required Educational Qualification For Science Subjects
Candidates must have passed Intermediate or equivalent in Mathematics, Physics and English from a recognized education board with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. Alternatively, completed three years Diploma course in Engineering with 50% marks in aggregate and English (if English was not a subject in the Diploma).
For Non-Science Subjects
Candidates must have passed Intermediate or equivalent in any stream with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. Alternatively successfully completed a two-year professional program with equivalent marks.
IAF Agniveer Vayu Recruitment 2024: Medical Standards
Height: For male candidates, the minimum acceptable height is 152.5 cm. For female candidates, the minimum acceptable height is 152 cms. Candidates from North East or hilly areas of Uttarakhand can have a minimum height of 147 cm. The minimum height for Lakshadweep candidates is 150 cms.
Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
Visual Standards: 6/12 each eye, correctable to 6/6 each eye.
Application Fee: Applicants will have to pay a fee of Rs 550 to submit candidature.
The official notification said, “Agniveer Vayu will be enrolled in the Indian Air Force for a period of four years under the Air Force Act 1950. Agniveer Vayu will hold a separate rank in the Indian Air Force, separate from any existing rank. Air The Army is not obliged to retain Agniveer Vayu beyond the attachment period of four years.”
