Delhi University (DU) announced on Saturday (June 27, 2026) the commencement of Phase I of its admissions process for various undergraduate programmes for the academic session 2026-27.
The university announced, “Candidates who appeared for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG-2026 and wish to seek admission to Delhi University (UoD) colleges are advised to register on the Common Seat Allocation System – 2026 (CSAS(UG)-2026) portal (https://ugadmission.uod.ac.in).”
Admissions are offered for 73 programs in 67 colleges and more than a hundred B.A. programs. The university stated that admissions will be based entirely on CUET UG 2026 scores, as long as the program-specific eligibility criteria in the UG Bulletin of Information 2026-27 are met. Candidates can register on the CSAS portal in the first phase using only their CUET (UG)-2026 application number.

According to Delhi University, as part of their initiative to make registration secure and user-friendly, candidate information, including name, date of birth, photo, and signature, is auto-integrated using the Government of India’s secure API Setu. This removes the trouble of managing duplicate data, improves data security, and minimises mistakes in student records. The university noted that a one-time, non-refundable registration fee will be required.
According to another statement by Delhi University, candidates in the second phase of CSAS need to map their CUET test papers to their Class 12 subjects.
According to another statement by Delhi University, candidates in the second phase of CSAS need to map their CUET test papers to their Class 12 subjects. It was also mentioned that for determining program-specific eligibility, only those CUET (UG) 2026 language and/or domain-specific papers will be considered that correspond to the subjects passed in Class 12.
Subject mapping will be used by the university to determine eligibility and calculate total scores for all programs for which a candidate is eligible. Then, candidates must indicate their preferences for programs and colleges. The university stated that the CSAS phase two schedule will be released soon.
