Results for JEE Main: How is the NTA Score Calculated?

According to the official notification, the scores for the JEE Main exam’s  Paper 1 and Paper 2 are calculated using the Final Answer Key. First, raw (actual) marks are computed based on the JEE Main 2026 marking scheme; under this scheme, four marks are awarded for every correct answer, while one mark is deducted for every incorrect answer.

Since this examination is conducted across multiple shifts, these raw marks are subsequently normalized and converted into NTA Scores to ensure fairness and equity across all sessions.
