The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta) recently completed the final placements for the 60th batch of its MBA program. IIM Calcutta achieved 100% placement. A total of 458 students participated in the final placement process, receiving 542 offers from 202 recruiters, including 61 first-time recruiters.

The highest domestic compensation recorded during the placement season was Rs 1.45 crore per annum, while the highest international offer was Rs 91.45 Lakh per annum. The average compensation for the batch increased by 5.05 percent year-on-year to Rs 36 lakh per annum (LPA).

IIM Calcutta MBA 60th Batch Final Placements: Top Recruiters

Boston Consulting Group (BCG) emerged as the top recruiter in the Management Consulting group, while Accenture Strategy emerged as the top recruiter in the Strategy Consulting group. Other participating consulting firms included Alvarez & Marsal Holdings, Bain & Company (Global management consulting firm), EY-Parthenon, Kearney, KPMG, McKinsey & Company, Monitor Deloitte, PwC, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Vector Consulting, and YCP Auctus (Previously Auctus Advisors). American Express emerged as the top recruiter in the Payments & Cards group.

IIM Calcutta Placements

The IIM Calcutta followed a cluster-cohort-based policy during the campus placement process, with the principle of enabling the best student-company fit. The process was conducted in a hybrid mode, allowing recruiters to conduct the process both online and on-campus by onboarding recruiters and students on a digital platform.

IIM Calcutta continued to receive positive feedback from the recruiters, thus strengthening their faith in the campus recruitment process.
