JEE Main 2026 Results: Session 1 Results Out, 12 Candidates score 100 Percentiles

JEE Main 2026 Results (Session 1) Out: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the results for JEE Main 2026 Session 1 today, on February 16, 2026. Students who appeared in JEE-Main 2026 session 1 can check and download their individual scorecards from the official National Testing Agency portal using their application number and password or date of birth, as required by the login interface at nta.ac.in or jeemain.nta.nic.in.

JEE Main 2025 Session 2

A total of 1,355,293 candidates had registered for the exam, including those from centres outside India. According to the NTA, 1,304,653 of these candidates appeared for the exam. The overall attendance rate was 96.26 percent. Notably, 12 candidates achieved a perfect NTA score of 100 (percentile) in Paper 1 (BE/BTech). Among female candidates, Aashi Grewal from Haryana emerged as the top scorer in Paper 1 (BE/BTech), securing an NTA score of 99.9969766.

JEE Main 2026 Results: Test is Used For

The computer-based JEE Main test is used for admission to the National Institutes of Technology (NITs), the Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and other centrally funded technical institutions. It also serves as an eligibility test for the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced (JEE Advanced), which determines admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
