The City Intimation Slip of JEE Mains has been released through the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. All the candidates who had registered for the January session will be informed about the allotted city for their examination.
JEE Mains 2026 is scheduled to be held on January 21st and 29th, 2026. This exam includes two separate Papers – Paper 1 is for students seeking admission in B.E./B.Tech academic courses. Papers 2A and 2B is for students seeking admission in B.Arch and B.Planning academic courses, respectively.
Paper 1 will be conducted on January 21, 22, 23, 24, and 28. Paper 2 will be conducted on January 29.
The exam is about to be conducted in two sessions. One session will be held in January and the second session will be held in April. Students can choose the session as per their preference for the courses. They can either appear for the first session in January or can choose to appear for both the sessions, January and April.
The better scores amongst both sessions will be considered for the final merit list of admission. The NTA (National Testing Agency) has released the City Intimation Slip today, 8th January 2026, on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. The City Intimation Slip consist the allotted city for the candidate, where the candidate will appear for the exam.
A city intimation slip is not a hall ticket or admit card. It’s a pre-admit card that consist only of the allocated city and the exam date, but not the complete exam centre address.
