The Indian School of Business (ISB) has published the summer internship report for the first batch of its Post Graduate Program in Management for Young Leaders (PGP YL) for the 2024–26 academic term. This batch has an average work experience of 11 months.
According to the official announcement, students received over 175 internship offers from 38 different companies across various sectors. The average stipend was recorded at ₹3.2 lakh, with the highest stipend reaching ₹7.3 lakh.

Key Recruiting Sectors at ISB:
Consulting emerged as the largest recruiting area, with Accenture leading with 37 offers. McKinsey & Company, Bain & Company, and Boston Consulting Group combined for 19 offers. Other firms, including EY-Parthenon, PwC, and Deloitte USI, also recruited for roles in strategy, analytics, and business transformation.
FMCG and Technology Roles
FMCG companies accounted for 11% of total offers. According to the ISB, HUL, ITC, Colgate-Palmolive, Dabur, and Castrol primarily hired for brand management and marketing strategy roles. Technology firms accounted for 10% of internships. Companies like Amazon, Media.net, Practo, and Ola offered product management roles.
Professor Deepa Mani, Deputy Dean of Academic Programs at ISB, said, “This first PGP YL cohort, with an average of just 11 months of work experience, has demonstrated that the program not only enhances knowledge but also prepares students to thrive in the modern work environment. This foundation helps them compete for strategic, high-impact roles in leading organizations.”
