Haryana Health Minister Arti Singh Rao on Friday said that 500 doctors will be recruited soon and there will be no shortage of doctors in government hospitals. After conducting a surprise inspection of the government hospital in Kurukshetra, she said that the recruitment proposal has been prepared and the recruitment process will start soon.

She also spoke to the health department officials and doctors and asked them to provide all facilities to the patients.

According to an official statement, she reprimanded the officials for the problems being faced by the patients, especially in the children’s ward, due to the piles of debris spread in the hospital and the poor condition of the toilets.

However, the minister found that there was adequate quantity of medicines available in the pharmacy. Later, she told reporters that many districts of Haryana have been affected by the floods. During this time, the health department officials and employees are monitoring the health of the people and distributing free medicines.
