XIMB 2026 MBA Applications Closed; Shortlist to be Released Soon

XIMB 2026 MBA applications have closed, and the institute will soon release the shortlist for GD-PI / WAT calls under the 2026 MBA admission process. According to the official website, the XIMB shortlist will be released in the first week of February. Candidates who have filled out the application will be able to check their XIMB shortlist status inside the login dashboard on xim.edu.in. XIM University shortlists candidates based on their scores in accepted exams such as XGMT, XAT, CAT, NMAT and GMAT, among others.

XIMB 2026 Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will have to participate in the next stage of the MBA admission process. The MBA selection rounds include a Writing Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI). Along with the release of the shortlist, candidates will receive the required XIMB cutoff scores to qualify for these rounds.

Section-wise as well as overall cutoff marks will be published on the official website – xim.edu.in. XIM University releases the detailed selection criteria and weightage given to each parameter along with the shortlist announcement.

MBA

The WAT, GD, and PI process will be communicated along with the release of the shortlist. If it is conducted offline, candidates will have to appear for the offline admission process in cities such as Bhubaneswar, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Mumbai.

XIMB Final Admission

The final admission decision will be based on several factors, including the candidate’s performance in XGMT/XAT/CAT/GMAT/NMAT. The final merit score for MBA admissions at XIM University will also include performance in WAT, GD, PI, previous academic background, and work experience. Candidates selected based on their overall score will receive their offer status via email in April 2026.

Along with the shortlist, the XIMB will also release a waitlist. Candidates on the waitlist may be called for further rounds if the shortlisted candidates do not qualify or withdraw from the admission process.
