QS World University Rankings 2024 (MBA); IIM Bangalore Best in The Country

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore is India’s top B-school and is ranked 48th in the QS World University Rankings 2024 for Global MBA and Business Masters. Stanford GSB’s MBA has topped the list while Wharton School and Harvard Business School have been ranked second and third. 10 Indian MBA colleges feature in top 250 institutes in Asia.

The QS World University Rankings for MBA programs were released today. In the QS Global Full-Time MBA Rankings 2024, IIM Bangalore has improved its rank from 50th in the 2023 ranking to 48th in 2024. IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Calcutta have been placed at 53rd and 59th positions respectively.

Two Indian MBA institutes are among the 50 best institutes in the world in terms of employability. IIM Bangalore is ranked 39th globally and fourth in Asia, followed by IIM Calcutta at 46th and seventh in Asia.

IIM Ahmedabad and Indian School of Business (ISB) Hyderabad have been placed in the top 50 for QS Entrepreneurship and Alumni Outcomes Indicators. While IIM Ahmedabad has been ranked 33rd, second in Asia, Indian School of Business has been ranked 43rd, fifth best in Asia.

IIM Bengaluru is the only Indian MBA institute in the top 50 in terms of return on investment, ranking it at 31st. It is also a national leader for thought leadership, but does not make the top 50, ranking 57th overall.

QS also ranks 28 specific business master’s, including 17 master’s in management, five master’s in finance, three master’s in business analytics, two master’s in marketing and one master’s in supply chain management.

IIM Bangalore is India’s best institute for Master in Management. It is ranked 31st globally due to its exceptional alumni outcomes, in which it is ranked 10th, it said in a statement on the QS World University Rankings.

While IIM Calcutta is ranked in the top 100 for India’s best Master in Business Analytics. It falls in the 61-70 band for this programme, IIM Udaipur ranks 51+ for its Master in Supply Chain Management programme.
