NEET 2026 Registration Live: The National Testing Agency (NTA) began NEET UG 2026 registration on February 8, 2026. Students can fill out the online application form before March 8, 2026. NEET UG 2026 Applications have begun, and the last date is March 8, 9 PM.
NEET UG is the only examination in India for shortlisting candidates for undergraduate medical and allied courses. For the past two years, more than 20 lakh students have registered for this exam. Candidates must ensure that the fee transaction is completed via credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI by 11:50 PM on March 8, 2026. After the application window closes, a correction window will be available from March 10, 2026, to March 12, 2026, for making corrections to the details in the application form.
NEET UG 2026 Application Fee
Regarding the fees to be paid by candidates, the fees for centres within India are as follows:

| General-EWS/OBC-NCL candidates | INR 1600/- |
| SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender candidates | INR 1000/- |
Important Note: For candidates appearing for the exam from centres outside India, the fee for all categories is ₹9500.
NEET UG 2026 Exam Date
The NEET UG 2026 examination is scheduled for May 3, 2026, from 2 PM to 5 PM, for a total duration of 180 minutes (3 hours). The examination centre details will be provided on the admit card, while other important dates such as city information, admit card download, display of recorded responses/answer key, and result declaration will be announced later on the official websites: nta.ac.in and neet.nta.nic.in.
The NEET UG 2026 application process states that candidates must apply only through the online mode via the official website neet.nta.nic.in, as applications submitted through any other means will not be accepted.
During the application process, candidates will need to upload certain documents, including a recent passport-sized photograph, proof of address, and a scanned signature. It is mandatory for each candidate to submit only one application and to strictly follow all the guidelines provided in the information bulletin to avoid immediate disqualification.
