Jharkhand Education Minister Ramdas Soren has been seriously injured after he slipped and fell in the bathroom on Saturday, Cabinet Minister Irfan Ansari said.
According to an official note shared by Cabinet Minister Ansari, Soren has suffered serious injuries due to brain damage and blood clot and is being admitted to Apollo Hospital in Delhi for emergency treatment. Ansari, who holds the Health, Food Supply and Disaster Management portfolios in the Jharkhand government, appealed for prayers, saying,
“The condition of our colleague, a true advocate of the poor and a strong voice of the tribal society, Education Minister Ramdas Soren has suddenly deteriorated. He has suffered serious injuries due to brain damage and blood clot after falling in the bathroom. Cabinet Minister Ansari told, I am constantly in touch with him and monitoring his condition. I heartily request all of you to pray for his speedy recovery.”
