JEE Mains 2026 Session 1 Registration Live Updates: The National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducts the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main, the entrance test for engineering admissions, released the JEE Main application forms for the 2026 examinations on October 31. JEE Main 2026 will be conducted in two phases, January 1 to 30 and April 1 to 10.
Candidates eligible to appear for the JEE Mains 2026 Exam can register by filling out the detailed form on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in, which includes candidates’ personal details, academic qualifications and images, and other details. The last date to register for the JEE Main 2026 January session exam is November 27.

For more information about JEE Main dates, syllabus, and free sample papers, candidates can visit careermantra.org, which provides detailed information about all engineering examinations. JEE Main is conducted for two papers – Paper 1 (BE/B. Tech) and Paper 2 (BArch/ BPharm).
The NTA had earlier urged candidates to ensure that their Aadhaar card, UDID card (for persons with disabilities), and category certificate (EWS/ SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL) are updated and valid before filling out the JEE Main 2026 application form. This step aims to avoid any discrepancies or rejections in the later stages of the admission process. In 2025, JEE Main was conducted in January and April.
