He said that the scope for misconduct in AI is “unlimited” and urged global tech leaders to come together to create a roadmap for responsible impact.

In his keynote address at the AI Impact Summit 2026, PM Modi presented India’s broader “MANAV Vision” for Artificial Intelligence, outlining a human-centric framework for ethical, accountable, and inclusive AI governance. He also emphasised India’s vision to ensure the democratisation of this technology for all its citizens.
Mukesh Ambani, chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries Ltd., announced an investment of ₹10 lakh crore by his group and promised to revolutionise artificial intelligence, just as he did with mobile data. Meanwhile, Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, called India a key driver of future innovation, saying the country would have a “huge impact” on how technology develops worldwide.
