New Delhi Rozgar Mela: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute around 71,000 appointment letters to newly inducted employees on April 13 and also address them through video conferencing, according to a statement issued by his office on Tuesday. The event is part of the ‘Rozgar Mela’ campaign, under which 10 lakh people are expected to be given jobs.
This is a step towards fulfilling the Prime Minister’s commitment to give top priority to employment generation, the statement said. It further added, “The Rojgar Mela is expected to act as a catalyst in further employment generation and provide meaningful opportunities to the youth for their empowerment and participation in national development.”
Under the Central Government, there will be selected recruitments from across the country on various posts like Train Manager, Station Master, Senior Commercial-cum-Ticket Clerk, Inspector, Sub-Inspector, Constable, Stenographer, Junior Accountant, Postal Assistant, Income Tax Inspector. Tax Assistant, Assistant Professor, Teacher, Librarian, Nurse, Probationary Officer, PA & MTS etc.
They will also get an opportunity to train themselves through ‘Karmayogi Prarambh‘, which is an online orientation course for new recruits in various government departments, the statement said.
