Airplane Crash Near Ahmedabad: Air India Flight that took off from Ahmedabad crashed minutes after take-off; 242 passengers were in the plane; many feared dead.

Air India passed a statement informing that the flight -AI171 was heading towards Gatwick in London; took off from Ahmedabad, got engaged in an incident that took place today, 12 June 2025. They also said that they are verifying further details and will inform at the earliest on their website and on their X handle.

Ram Mohan Naidu- Civil Aviation Minister said that he is shocked after learning about the airplane crash incident and is rushing to the city.

On X, Naidu wrote that. He has set all the aviation agencies on highest alert, instructed them to take swift action immediately, and he is personally monitoring the situation carefully.

PM Modi spoke with the minister and got to know the whereabouts and howabouts of the situation.. PM Modi has told the Minister to ensure that he and the authorities get all the necessary support immediately.
