Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Launches New Programme-Bachelor of Management Studies

The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi (GGSIPU) has started a new four-year Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) programme from the academic session 2026-27. For this new four-year program at IP University, there are a total of 60 available seats. Information related to this new program is available on the university’s official websites, IPU.ac.in and ipu.admissions.nic.

The new BMS programme is available at the Indian Institute of Packaging, Patparganj. The Indian Institute of Packaging, Patparganj, is an affiliated institute of the IP University, Delhi. Admission to the programme will be given on the basis of the University-conducted entrance test (CET), followed by Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) scores.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University: Basic Requirements for This Program

For most programs at IPU, CUET UG and PG scores are now a secondary admission route. The university previously stated that seats remaining after their own entrance exams would be assigned using CUET merit. The basic requirement for this program is passing the 12th standard with 50% marks in English. The university explained that they are introducing this course because of strong market demand, as several other Indian universities are already providing it.

Admissions for the 2026-27 academic session at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University have begun. The university released brochures for UG, PG, and PhD programs on January 28, 2026 and is offering over 43,000 seats across more than 130 affiliated colleges and its own schools. For the current academic year, IPU has introduced 24 new courses.

These include a Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), Lateral Entry into B.S. (Packaging Technology), an M.Tech in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, an M.A. in Mass Communication (Weekend Program), additional weekend courses in specific fields, a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, a B.Tech in Industrial Chemistry, a B.Sc in Clinical Psychology, a B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Data Science), a B.Tech in Computer Science and Business Systems, as well as new courses in Teacher Education and Inclusive Education.
