WBJEE Result 2023 Declared: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) declared the results of the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination today. Students who appeared in the exam can check their WBJEE result 2023 on the official website wbjeeb.nic.in.

Kolkata’s MD Sahil Akhtar and Soham Das secured the first and second ranks respectively. The third position was secured by Sara Mukherjee of Durgapur.

State Education Minister Bratya Basu announced that the success rate this year is 99.4 per cent, which is higher than last year’s 98.5 per cent.

This time a total of 97,524 candidates appeared in the entrance exam. The results have been declared now and the result link has been activated at 4 PM. The board recently released the answer key and students were given time till May 20 to challenge the answer key. Around 98,000 students appeared in the exam.

State Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee also took to Twitter to congratulate the students and also revealed that 27.5 per cent of the successful candidates this time are women. He said, “I am extremely happy that 53 percent of the total successful candidates are from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education.”

WBJEE is an entrance exam for admission to undergraduate courses in engineering and technology, pharmacy and architecture of various universities, colleges in the state. This time the exam was conducted on 30 April.
