UPSC CSE Prelims Result 2024 Declared at upsc.gov.in, Candidates can Check Their Results
Candidates who have qualified in the Civil Services preliminary examinations will proceed to the next and important stage, UPSC CSE Mains 2024 and ultimately the interview or personality test round.
UPSC CSE Prelims Result: Today on July 1, the results of Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2024 have been declared by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Candidates who appeared in the exam can check their UPSC CSE Prelims Result on the official website upsc.gov.in.

Candidates who have qualified in the Civil Services preliminary examinations will proceed to the next and important stage, UPSC CSE Mains 2024 and ultimately the interview or personality test round. The Commission said in an official announcement that the candidature of these individuals is provisional.
As per the rules of the examination, all these candidates have to apply again in the Detailed Application Form-I (DAF-I) for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2024. The dates and important instructions for filling of DAF-I and its submission will be announced on the website of the Commission in due course of time.
The Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination consisted of two papers of objective type (multiple choice questions) and had a maximum of 400 marks.
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) had earlier said that it will prepare a list of candidates qualifying for the Civil Services (Main) examination based on the criteria of minimum qualifying marks of 33% in General Studies Paper-II of Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination and 33% in aggregate qualifying marks of General Studies Paper-I of Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination.
1056 vacancies will be filled in central government services and departments through UPSC Civil Services 2024 examination. This includes the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and Indian Foreign Service (IFS). Of all the available posts, 40 have been specifically set aside for persons belonging to the benchmark disability category.
