According to the latest announcement, these assessments will begin on January 1, 2025, for both Indian and international CBSE-affiliated schools.
CBSE Exams 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the schedule for practical exams, internal assessments, and project work for Class 10 and Class 12 students for the 2024-25 academic session. According to the latest announcement, these assessments will begin on January 1, 2025, for both Indian and international CBSE-affiliated schools. However, the complete datesheet for theory CBSE exams 2025 is still awaited, though the board has confirmed that these exams will commence on February 15, 2025.
In an effort to streamline the examination process, CBSE board has also provided schools with subject-wise details, including the breakdown of marks for theory, practicals, projects, and internal evaluations. The total marks for each subject will be out of 100, and these marks will be divided among the various components.
The board’s recent circular includes important guidelines about the marking process and highlights that some schools have previously made errors in uploading internal marks. To avoid this, the CBSE has reiterated that once the marks are uploaded, no changes can be made.
The circular also clarifies procedures regarding external examiners, the use of practical answer books, and the specific type of answer sheets that will be utilized for theory exams. Schools are advised to strictly adhere to these guidelines to ensure smooth execution of the exam process and avoid issues that may inconvenience students in the future. CBSE has urged schools to ensure the correct and timely submission of marks to prevent problems during the final results stage.
