Reliance Foundation Scholarship to 5000 First Year Undergraduate Students, Apply by October 15

Reliance Foundation has opened the Merit-cum-Means Scholarship application forms for first year regular undergraduate students in all branches of study. The scholarship seeks to provide a grant of up to Rs 2 lakh and an opportunity to be part of an enabling support system and a vibrant alumni network. Students studying in any branch in the first year of their UG programs in the academic session 2023-24 can apply till October 15 to avail this scholarship. Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship selects students on the basis of merit cum means criteria for UG college education, so that they can continue their studies without any financial burden.

An official statement issued in this regard said that the aim of the scholarship is to enable students to become professionals and realize their dreams, uplift themselves and their communities and contribute to the future socio-economic development of India . “India has the largest youth population in the world and our youth have immense potential to take the country to new heights.

Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship Program will provide a grant of up to Rs 2 lakh to selected students for the entire course of study.

Scholars will also get the opportunity to be part of an enabling support system that will equip them with skills for holistic development and a vibrant alumni network. The program encourages applications from girls and people with disabilities. Selection will be based on performance in the qualifying examination, class 12 marks, household income and other eligibility criteria.

For the Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship 2022-23, around one lakh students registered and of the 5,000 scholars selected on the basis of eligibility and performance in the qualifying examination, 51 percent were women and 97 scholars were people with disabilities.
