IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies Launch Free Training Program for BSc and BCA Students
The training program is scheduled to begin in early July 2024. The last date for submission of applications is June 12.
IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies: Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IITM) Pravartak Technologies Foundation has launched a new initiative to train students in industry-ready technical skills completely free of cost. This training program will focus on IT/infrastructure and helpdesk support.
The training program is scheduled to begin in early July 2024. The last date for submission of applications is June 12. Interested people can register through the following link – form.gle/7RhAKgrGRgwr17zd6.
This free training program will run for three months from July to September 2024, with a possible commencement in June. It is a classroom-based program that covers networking essentials, cloud fundamentals, ticketing tools, Linux and Windows basics, storage and backup fundamentals, and soft skills.
It is open to 2023 and 2024 BSc graduates (in Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biotechnology) and BCA students with a minimum of 60 per cent marks. No stipend will be given to the participants.
The objective of the training is to equip students with the necessary skills to join the IT support team of small to medium-sized organizations. Although placement assistance including mock interviews and campaigns will be provided, but there is no guarantee of job placement.
IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation is a Section 8 company that builds technology innovation hubs on sensors, networking, actuators and control systems. It is funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, under the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems and hosted by IIT Madras.
