FMGE 2024 Successfully Conducted for 35,819 Candidates: Health Ministry

FMGE 2024: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), an autonomous body of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, conducted the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) for 35,819 candidates on July 6.

FMGE 2024 was conducted across 71 centers spread across 50 cities in 21 states. “As a measure towards tighter examination security, NBEMS has appointed more than 250 evaluators to monitor the conduct of the examination. It was carried forward with a flying squad consisting of 45 faculty members.

 “As per the instructions of the Union Health Minister, the Director General of Health Services (DGHS), MoHFW and other institutions had also deputed a senior person at all the examination centres. An official notice from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said, no untoward incident has been reported anywhere and NBEMS will declare the result of today’s FMGE in due course of time.

Meanwhile, refuting reports of FMGE question paper leak, NBEMS President Dr Abhijat Sheth told Indianexpress.com that “All social media reports about NEET PG or FMGE question paper leak or sale of question paper are false.” There are, and students should be careful.” About trusting such news. Such fake news will continue to circulate because there are people who want to take undue advantage by making fake claims in the name of NBEMS.

On July 6, the National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) conducted the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) in two sessions, from 9 am to 11:30 am and from 2 pm to 4:30 pm, using computers organized- Nationwide based forum.
