BHU Begins Registration for MBA Admissions 2025 Through CAT Scores; Know Eligibility and Admission Process

MBA Admissions 2025: Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has begun the registration process for admission to postgraduate management courses in business administration for the academic batch 2025-27. As per the official notice, candidates will get admission to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) and MBA in International Business (MBA-IB) programmes on the basis of their Common Admission Test (CAT) scores.
The institute announced and posted on Twitter that the admission portal for registration and counselling process for Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Business Administration in International Business (MBA-IB) programmes based on Common Admission Test (CAT) scores for the academic session 2025-27 is now active. It is live from October 1, 2024 to January 3, 2025.
Eligible candidates seeking admission can fill the application form through the official website bhu.ac.in. The last date to submit applications for Master of Business Administration (MBA) admission is January 3, 2025.
The classes are scheduled to begin on July 14, 2025, as per official prospects. Candidates from other general categories will have to pay an application fee of Rs 2,000. Candidates from Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories will have to pay an application fee of Rs 1,000 to register for the admission process.
Banaras Hindu University (BHU) MBA Admissions 2025 Eligibility:
Candidates can check below the eligibility criteria for admission to MBA programmes at Banaras Hindu University (BHU). Admission to the MBA and MBA in International Business (MBA IB) programmes will be based on a combined merit assessment, which includes the following components:
+ Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) (50%)
+ Academic record (20%)
+ Group discussion and personal interview (30%)
Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree under 10+2+3 pattern
+ Postgraduate degree in any subject
+ Degree in Engineering, Technology, Agriculture, Medicine, Education, Law
Candidates who appeared for the qualifying exam must submit a certificate from their institute confirming their participation in the exam for the academic session 2024-25. If they are granted provisional admission, they must provide their qualifying exam mark sheet by October 5 of the admission year.
The CAT 2024 registration process has been completed, and the exam is scheduled on November 24, 2024. To get admission into the MBA program, candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks in graduation and must have secured at least 85 percentiles in the CAT entrance exam.
In 2024, 165 management students received 181 offers during BHU placements. The highest and average packages were INR 23.5 LPA and INR 11.1 LPA, respectively.
